Another positive result through partnership working.

Today, I joined local representatives and partner agencies in addressing long-standing concerns surrounding a resident whose behaviour had been significantly impacting the quality of life of those living nearby.

Led by the Local Area Manager, the operation was carried out smoothly and without incident, resulting in the resident being removed from the property in accordance with a lawful order.

Anti-social behaviour is far more than an inconvenience—it can affect people's wellbeing, make residents feel uncomfortable in their own homes, and have a lasting impact on the wider community. No one should have to tolerate behaviour that causes alarm, distress, or nuisance where they live.

Today's outcome demonstrates what can be achieved when agencies work together with a shared goal. By combining resources, information, and expertise, we can take effective action to address issues that matter most to our communities.

We want residents to know that reports of anti-social behaviour are listened to, investigated, and acted upon wherever appropriate. We remain committed to working alongside our partners to make our neighbourhoods safer, stronger, and more enjoyable places to live.
